Our customers are businesses who’re looking for a website and who’re looking to set up an online presence. It could be ecommerce website or a business website, serving from startups to established companies. They either don’t have an online presence or they’re looking for a better presence.

Our customers usually find us online through Google organic search, call us after seeing our website or they come to us through referrals.

We’re a small team of 5. Exotel has had, on an average, a 30% impact on our revenues, just by making sure that we don’t miss calls from any prospective clients. Since we don’t meet about 70% of our clients in person, having an IVR and a professional business phone system, gives our clients the perception of a large company in spite of being a team of 5.

All our incoming calls are routed through Exotel. It helps us keep track of who is calling and understand the client. It is essential for us that we don’t miss any calls from prospective customers.

Before using Exotel, we were handling enquiries on our personal phones and we weren’t doing very great. We’re definitely more organized after using Exotel.

We don’t meet about 70% of our clients face to face. Most of our business happens over the phone and on email. Even the ones, we’ve met, we meet maybe once a year. Having a professional phone system with an IVR gives our clients the perception of us being a big firm in spite of being a team of 5. And this is extremely important for us.

What are some of the features of Exotel that has helped your team?

We’re a team of 5 people including designers. But, I’m the only one who usually answers calls. Missed call tracking is the one feature that has helped us the most. We also listen to call recordings at times. We mainly use call recordings in instances, say, we had a conversation over the phone and we forgot what the client said or if I want to know what a particular call was about, when a customer calls and I forget what it was about.

We refer Exotel to all of our clients who are looking for business phone solutions. We feel that it will definitely impact their business the way it has impacted ours.
